Benjamin Hazlett is a Los Angeles based touring & session guitarist - producer. He has toured around the globe with artists like, two time Grammy Award Winner & multi-platinum recording artist Colbie Caillat. And Latin Pop Superstar Paulina Rubio who has sold an astounding 30,000,000 records world-wide. Benjamin is currently guitarist and Music Director for TV-Star & Recording Artist, Hunter Parrish, best known as a lead role on the show 'Weeds' and the Broadway musicals GodSpell and Spring Awakening.
Benjamin studio experience has lent to performing on numerous artists, commercial music and Feature Film Trailers scores.

He began his career touring in 2004 when he was the guitarist /keyboardist for the Columbia Records band, Avion. Prior to signing with Columbia Records in 2005, Avion was the first Indie band in over 15 years to have a Top 40 hit without the support of a major label. With that attention, Avion signed with Columbia Records & continued to tour through 2004-2005. That opened up a lot of opportunities that followed when in 2005 he worked with Meredith Brooks and her protege' Bec Hollcraft. Following Benjamin performed with teen star of the TV show iCarly Miranda Cosgrove. Benjamin studio work picked up rapidly in 2008 with the sessions he began doing for feature film trailer scores in Hollywood. Then in early 2009 was asked to tour for Colbie Caillat, who he toured with across the U.S. and Europe. Since the fall of 2009 to beginning of 2011 he toured with Paulina Rubio across the U.S., Central & South America, the Caribbean & Spain. He since has done various tour dates with Paulina in Mexico and Argentina.

In 2011, he worked with the artist ‘hope hazy’ who released her first major record called ‘never the same [ jamais la même ]’.
hope hazy partners English rock with a French flare of Yann Tiersen's ornate melodies elevated by Queen inspired vocal arrangements and song-writing reminiscent of a score that paints fantastical worlds in a Tim Burton film.
‘never the same’ was produced by Los Angeles producer, Chris James and was co-produced by Benjamin Hazlett. Benjamin also recorded electric guitars on the record.
The record was put together with an amazing line up of musicians some of which are Aaron Sterling, Zane Carney, Dan Lutz and many other brilliant musicians that comprised the live orchestral arrangements.

Currently, Benjamin is home in Los Angeles, after completing an U.S. East Coast tour with hope hazy, they are now performing in Los Angeles and up the West Coast.
